The human being is as complex and as simple as the rising sun. The most important thing to understand is the principles which promote health and the habits which create disease. This comes through everything from ingredients of food and drink, patterns of sleeping and eating, mind and it’s activities, heart and the emotions, exercise, and physical fitness, and the ability to deeply relax and enjoy life.
A deep understanding of the science of the body is important to take the techniques of natural sciences and apply them to a lived reality which improves on the quality of life.
A consultation is a holistic approach to living well, to feeling healthy and happy and creating the energy levels which make life enjoyable and exciting.
Taking the help of Ayurveda and it’s understanding of body types, looking at the whole picture, a consultation educates and empowers one to reach health goals whether big or small. This approach compliments any care one receives from a doctor and is not a substitute for professional medical attention. It is a doorway to understand how one’s day to day living and choices are constantly creating one’s reality and potentially health and vibrancy.
Stress is the most common cause of lifestyle-related disorders. Accumulated stress hormones circulating in the bloodstream creating a constant fight or flight state and leading to the development of insulin resistance which eventually becomes type 2 diabetes. Stress is the major cause of back spasm in back muscles, the reason for back pain. Stress causes gastrointestinal acidity/acid reflux, migraine headaches, constipation, and manifests itself in a myriad of physical deviations from health.
Even the food one eats can create stress, therefore the importance of reducing stress cannot be emphasized enough. This level of relaxation requires an approach system by system of the body to reach the total rest of all body systems, what is known as the physiological baseline.
At the level of total deep relaxation, the regenerative powers of the body come into action, to balance out the communication systems of the body both electrically and chemically through the nervous system and the endocrine hormone glands and system.
Once there is a communication between major organs and systems there can be a deeper communication through the energy channels of the body. Ayurveda recognizes 72,000 energy channels through the body and points on the body called “marma points” which balance these energy channels and help remove blockages which are the root causes of disease.
Mental blockages thought patterns, and belief systems also create blockages in the energy channels resulting in disease in corresponding organs, therefore, total stress relief includes techniques of meditation and mindfulness to be healthy, happy, and wise.

Travel to India
India has a unique tradition which is exemplified by the phrase “unity in diversity.” Within the same region, you can find multiple languages, food styles, dress, and religion. India is perceived in a particular way but until you actually go there-there is no way to understand it or categorize it. It is colorful, the people are diverse, and it is easy to see how life can exist in a completely different way from life in the West. It stretches the boundaries of what is perceived as humanly possible, yet at the same time being so practical and pragmatic.
This holds true for the Indian approach to health and wellbeing. There are government sponsored hospitals for Allopathy, Naturopathy, and Ayurveda. Ayurvedic practitioners, the true one’s, posses an art which can only be handed down from a master to student. The art of pulse diagnosis is one of these secret sciences which do not come from a book. Other natural healing modalities are prevalent such as Unani, Siddha, homeopathy, and even traditional Chinese medicine is founded in integrated health care centers.
Not surprisingly, the practical application of health care in India included Allopathy and modern Medicine for diagnostics, and pharmaceutical drugs when necessary. The emphasis, however, is always to rely mostly on nature and utilize and empower the bodies own healing and restorative power.
A trip to India can change one’s life all together both in perspective and physical health. One may undergo a full pancha karma treatment done under careful guidance of an Ayurvedic doctor for serious health issues or take a more integrated approach to health through a Nature Cure retreat which provides all doctor consultation, natural food, yoga, meditation, treatments such as massage, steam, acupuncture, mud therapy, hydrotherapy, physical therapy if needed, all combined in one center and with convenient accommodation within the center. The price for this is so reasonable it would make your jaw drop.
On a trip to India with us, you can also feel confident to travel the country, avoid mistakes people make when traveling alone, and visit the special, sacred, and mystical places one would only find after spending many years there.
